An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a test which measures the electrical activity of your heart to show whether or not it is working normally.
We use an advanced ECG device which uses wireless technology to give an immediate result.
This test is done by analysing Urobilinogen, Glucose, Bilirubin, Ketones, Hydration, Blood, Protien, Nitrites and Leucocytes; as well as your Sodium levels.
We will check your Peak Expiratory Flow Rate. This will show us how your lungs are performing.
Food and drink change the pH level of saliva. Bacteria in your mouth break down the carbohydrates you consume, releasing lactic acid, butyric acid, and aspartic acid. This lowers the pH level of your saliva. Your saliva should be slightly alkaline to begin the pre-digestive process.
How well is your body carrying oxygen?
We do a simple temperature check to make sure your body is regulating normally and it may also flag up any signs of infection.
